Our Location

Ca' Venexiana is located in sestiere Dorsoduro,
long preferred by artists and writers alike for its peace, beauty, and inspiration. We are easily accessible and well placed for seeing all that Venice has to offer. Within moments of our doorstep, you will find the popular and enjoyable
Campo San Margherita, Campo San Barnaba, and the Zattere, all perfect and unique spots for basking in the Venetian atmosphere.
Amenities are also very close by. Steps away, you will meet with a fine selection of open-air markets and groceries, while numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes (as well as the best gelaterias in Venice) are ready to welcome you.
Galleries and artists' studios abound; you can watch artisans at work preparing for Carnevale in the mascherie.
Gaze from our windows onto the local squero, where gondolas are still made by hand as they have been for centuries.
Dorsoduro
is home to some of Venice's oldest and most beautiful churches...among them San Sebastiano, I Carmini, and the stunning Santa Maria della Salute, a true jewel on the Grand Canal.
A short stroll across the Grand Canal by way of nearby Accademia Bridge leads you to the magnificent Piazza San Marco
with its incredible basilica and campanile. While there, don't miss the regal Palazzo Ducale and the ever wistful
Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs). Follow along winding passageways, past noble palazzi, to the famous Ponte de Rialto
(Rialto Bridge). This bustling marketplace, at this same site for over 900 years, simply overflows with the sights and sounds and
scents that are so unique to this remarkable city.
One thing is certain...wherever you turn...around any corner...hidden treasure awaits.
This is Venezia...this is heaven.
